Nikol Duman, one of the heroes of the national liberation struggle of the Armenian people, created the house museum in his father’s house in Tsaghkashat village of Askeran region. Later, the project was expanded and turned into the restoration of a complete neighborhood of a traditional Artsakh village with all its components. The bakery, pantry, economic buildings, etc. have been carefully restored here. Hezhete district has turned into an important place for organizing exhibitions, festivals and traditional music concerts and visiting tourists.
